A MISSION TRIP TO TANZANIA

September 13 - 27, 2003

            This set of web-based materials documents a trip in which Lois & Scott Urquhart participated. This was written for family and friends, although parts of it may be useful in mission endeavors. It has been distributed on a CD ROM and now is available on our son's web site, as we have none.  (This is clearly a work in progress!)  These materials are organized according to the themes listed below. (This list gives access to materials related to each of the themes.) The images are organized two ways: somewhat chronologically and by animals.  Most of the links below transfer to slide shows, many with an intervening  introductory page or two.   The more complete shows (labeled with * below) have titles and comments for most images; ones at a much earlier stage of development lack titles and comments, but will appear in future editions. 

            The trip was partly mission oriented, and partly a safari. It was sanctioned and actively encouraged by the Missions Committee of First United Presbyterian Church, Greeley, CO, USA. The trip was organized by Shirley Forbes who had made two previous trips into this part of Africa.
